Caryn Beiter, Outdoor Education Program Director
Caryn grew up in the deciduous forests of Rochester, NY but has since lived no more than 10 minutes from the ocean. Her first outdoor education job was teaching marine biology underwater in the Florida Keys. Caryn has since worked, lived, traveled and taught science around the country from California to Maine. In the midst of it all, Caryn worked at Camp Ocean Pines in 2005 teaching students, writing curriculum, building the basketball court and locksmithing doors! She loves to grow vegetables, search for nudibranchs in the tidepools and spot whales while running on Fiscalini Ranch. She holds a B.S. in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of New Hampshire.
