Get ready for an unforgettable adventure-filled week at Camp Ocean Pines, where each day is packed with thrilling activities and each night brings the comfort of home under the stars. This program is perfect for teens seeking more excitement than a typical camp session, while still enjoying the cozy camp community at the end of the day.
Campers will stay in our comfortable cabins with other teens, guided by our trained Ocean Pines counselors to ensure safety and fun. Every camper is guaranteed to experience:
A thrilling surfing lesson on one of California's beautiful Central Coast beaches.
An exhilarating zipline tour over the rolling hills of a scenic vineyard.
A memorable overnight camping trip under the stars.
A challenging yet rewarding rock climbing adventure.

Safety is our top priority at Camp Ocean Pines. That’s why we carefully select and hire trustworthy staff. For all daily excursions, we ensure a minimum of three staff members accompany the group, maintaining a 1-to-4 staff-to-camper ratio for every adventure. All camp drivers are over 21 years old and must pass a driving test. For water activities, we always have at least one certified lifeguard on hand. While zip-lining and surfing are facilitated by trusted external agencies, rest assured, our staff will be present throughout to ensure a safe and fun experience!

Not at all! At Camp Ocean Pines, we follow a ‘Challenge by Choice’ philosophy, encouraging campers to step out of their comfort zones and try new things. However, our staff will never pressure or force any camper to participate in an activity they're not comfortable with.

Any teen looking to have an unforgettable week on the Central Coast with lots of outdoor adventures, while also improving their self-confidence, communication, and trust with others. Teens stay in cabins with other kids in the main camp program. We split cabins up based on age and camper’s gender cabin preference, so each teen will be in a space that is comfortable for them. For one night of the program, teens will go on a camping trip at a local state park and sleep in a tent with their cabin mates! Our cabins include a private bathroom and shower, so campers can take care of all of their personal hygiene needs before and after a day of adventuring!

We fill the week up with as many adventures as we can, and will send an itinerary out to registered families before the session. The week will include surfing, zip-lining, rock-climbing, camping, kayaking, and more!
