Early Morning
Start your day with a mug of coffee and enjoy the tranquility of camp in the early morning. Breakfast kicks off at 8 am, where everyone will find food to help nourish them! Our kitchen prides itself on providing options for every type of eater. At breakfast, you will find Camp Ocean Pines staff answering questions about the upcoming schedule or telling riddles to some curious campers.
A Day at Family Camp
Morning Activities
Your family camp adventure starts right after breakfast! Every activity block there are a variety of activities that are offered and there is plenty of time throughout the schedule to try everything. Your morning might start with tie-dyeing your very own Camp Ocean Pines t-shirt, a few rounds of archery, and meeting our animal ambassadors in the Nature Center. All of our activities are led by our Camp Ocean Pines staff, so you just have to show up!
Cabin Time & Lunch
After your morning activities, families will have free time to enjoy themselves. Some families might choose to hang out in the hammocks or take the time to explore Cambria. Everyone comes together for another tasty meal for lunch. A camp favorite meal is our famous Taco Bar — don’t miss trying the homemade green salsa!
Afternoon Activities
Families will have another opportunity to choose from a selection of activities. They might choose to explore the local tide pools, make a campfire pie-iron creation, or attend our paint n’ sip class! Our staff works hard to lead a variety of classes-for the little toddlers to the grandparents-everyone gets to have fun at camp!
KBAR & Dinner
Or also know as “Kick Back and Relax” time is the perfect time to read a book in our Hammock Village, take a nap in your cabin or play gaga! During this time there are no structured activities and families are on their own. Families can also visit our Camp Store during this time to buy a camp souvenir. As the sun sets, families can fill up with another delicious camp meal!
Evening Activities
Just because the sun is down doesn’t mean that the camp fun stops. Our evening activities are for the full camp. We might have a staff led campfire and s’mores, bingo night or talent show! This nights are filled with community bonding and lots and lots of laughter. As the stars come out, families will make their way to their cabins, resting up for another fun-filled day at Camp Ocean Pines.
