Camp Ocean Pines

Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, California was established in 1946 to serve the community as a non-profit camp and a conference center. Located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco on the Central Coast, our closest airport is San Luis Obispo (SBP). Camp Ocean Pines sits on thirteen acres of Monterey Pine forest that overlooks the ocean shore.

Learn more about Camp Ocean Pines in our About Us page. Parents, check out our summer camp page to see what is available for your kids. Teachers can bring your students for a week of Outdoor Education. Our facility is also available as a Conference Center when we are not having one of our exceptional workshops or educating school children about the environment in our Outdoor Education programs.

Outdoor Education 2007-2008home-page.jpg

The Central Coast of California is an unspoiled place to study nature with the experts. Camp Ocean Pines provides a unique opportunity for students to meet with excellent naturalists to study marine science and forest ecology.

Our naturalists are well versed in the California State standards, and teachers will enjoy watching their students participate in memorable activity based hands on learning in this remarkable setting.

We have a couple of openings in our Fall 2007 Outdoor Education season and are presently registering schools for the 2007-08 session. Visit our Outdoor Education page to learn more.
